Terms & Conditions

1. General provisions

1. These terms set out the rules for using Apartament Joanna and for guests’ stays.
2. Making a booking or checking in means accepting these terms.
3. The apartment is intended solely for residential use during a short-term stay.

2. Booking and payment

1. Bookings can be made via booking platforms, the online form or by contacting us directly.
2. A booking is confirmed once the deposit or full amount has been paid – as agreed.
3. Guests agree to provide true contact details.
4. Cancellations are subject to the conditions agreed at the time of booking.

3. Check-in and check-out

1. A rental day runs from 3:00 pm until 11:00 am the following day (unless agreed otherwise).
2. Check-in is based on the details provided in the registration form.
3. Guests agree to inform us of their expected arrival time.
4. Extending a stay is possible by prior arrangement and subject to availability.

4. House rules

1. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not allowed in the apartment.
2. Parties, loud gatherings and disturbing the night-time quiet are prohibited.
3. The number of people in the apartment may not exceed the number stated in the booking.
4. Guests agree to take care of the apartment and use it as intended.
5. Pets are not allowed.
6. Any faults must be reported to the owner immediately.

5. Guest liability

1. Guests are liable for any damage caused by them or by persons staying with them.
2. The owner may charge the guest for the cost of repairing or replacing damaged equipment.
3. In the event of a serious breach of these terms, the owner may refuse further services without refunding the cost of the stay.

6. Owner liability

1. The owner is not liable for items left in the apartment.
2. The owner ensures that appliances and equipment are in working order and responds to reported faults.
3. In emergencies (e.g. flooding, fire) the owner may enter the apartment without the guest’s consent.

7. Cleaning and equipment

1. The apartment is handed over to the guest clean.
2. Final cleaning is included in the price unless agreed otherwise.
3. Guests agree to leave the apartment in no worse condition than they found it.
4. Removing equipment from the apartment is prohibited.

8. Safety

1. Guests agree to secure the apartment properly (closing doors and windows).
2. Using devices that may pose a fire hazard is prohibited.
3. Candles and open flames are not allowed in the apartment.

9. Personal data (GDPR)

1. The data controller is the owner of Apartament Joanna.
2. Guest data is processed for handling bookings, communication and invoicing – in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the information clause provided with the booking form.
3. Guests have the right to access, rectify and erase their data and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (UODO).
4. Data is not used for marketing purposes without the guest’s explicit consent.

10. Final provisions

1. Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the Polish Civil Code.
2. The owner reserves the right to amend these terms.
3. The current version is available on the website, in the booking form and in the apartment.
